    As much as it seems unlikely that a higher GB model is necessary. With all downloads and pre-game installations there are, I'd definitely recommend the bigger capacity PS3. Whether that's through purchasing the larger GB console or going for the smaller, to then buy a hard drive later. Whichever's cheaper

    Go for the higher GB model. Game data is not small on many games. For example GT5 wouldnt even fit onto the 12GB since it exceeds that. And most games require patches and updates, taking up more data.

    Look at whichever is cheaper. Buying a PS3 with a size of something like a 500GB HDD (although there are 120GB, 160GB, 250GB and 320GB sizes) or buying the 12GB Model and using your own 2.5" HDD that you buy yourself. And whichever is more convenient for you of course

    I was just going to say are 12gb and 500gb the only sizes they do now? Surly just get a 160gb I have seen both available for the £140 mark.
