Ouch. Expect they're price gouging as they'll beat PS4 out in the UK for a while. Price will probably drop once the PS4 comes out over here.
Must admit, highlight of the entire thing for me was seeing Witcher 3 (Should imagine if Kal was watching probably same thing!! )
Surprised that they have done an exclusive on Dead Rising 3
I think the highlights for me were the halo announcement, witcher 3 gameplay and some titanfall gameplay. Everything else looks abit mediocre.
I won't be buying that 'always on' machine at that price.
i7 2700K @ 4.7Ghz / Asus Gene V / 8GB Corsair Vengeance LP / Asus GTX580 DirectCUII / Samsung 830 256GB /
2x2TB Samsung F4EG / Corsair AX850W / Antec P182 / Silver Arrow Cooler / Dell U2412M
Adding £400 to a decent pc would get you something pretty good for gaming...
I just looked up the dollar conversion, and compared it to the dollar price. Ouch >< Going to wait for a bit, see what bundles/price cuts they offer before coughing up that much.

Just done a conversion using current exchange rates :
$499 = £320
$499 = €376
So Europe and the UK are getting overcharged yet again
I'm not sitting up for PS4 reveal tonight but going to watch it tomorrow, I hope Sony do it right on so many different levels. Global simultaneous release, decent pricing etc
Im expecting the ps4 to come in around the same price if not a little cheaper (maybe £30-£50 if we're lucky). Both seem unappealing atm and since ms are still charging for live, thats a big turn off for me.
No one just buys a machine though, they buy a bundle. It's generally two games and an extra controller, or three games and a blue ray, or whatever accessories are available. Pretty much means we are looking at £500 to get started. That is steep.
They've been doing from as far as I remember, swap out the $ for a £ and hope no one says anything. Bloody joke!
Dead Rising 3 looks stunning but think I'll be giving this at least a year before I even consider getting one.
