Hi All,
I'm probably a bit behind with the news as I've only just read about the change from Family Gold to individual Gold accounts from 27th Aug and was hoping someone could clarify my position as I've been reading on a few sites but can't find an definitive answer.
I have an Xbox and my three kids have an Xbox each. We are all on an annual Family Gold subscription due for renewal next year.
As I understand it, the Family 'grouping' will be dissolved sometime after Aug 27th with us all moving to individual accounts. Each account will then be extended by 3 months.
Does this mean that once these accounts are due for renewal I would need to buy 4 gold subscriptions to continue with the same level of service we already have (~£180)?
I'm getting confused by the ability to extend XBox One Gold features to other people and the ability for those people to login on other XBoxes and use the gold features. Does this replicate family functionality (therefore only requires one gold account)? If so does it require an XBox One or can normal XBoxes be used?
Thanks for any info + links
