So PSN is hit by another DDOS today.

First time I fired up the PS3 for ages, and can't log in to use it: http://www.gamechup.com/sony-confirm...r-maintenance/

Perhaps the neighbours will be happy, was going to look for some new songs on SingStar so my daughter an I can have a play

Anyone else hit by this here, or am I just lucky like that?

Just managed to sign in, took a little longer than usual (I'm wired into my router so normally it's a few seconds) but logged in with no warning messages.

I just joined PSN Plus last night for 12 months paid £35 to Amazon and can't sign in. Sony should get their act together; they're obviously the easy target compared to MS/XBL.

I got an "undergoing maintenance" message when trying with my Vita.

That's what I was getting. Got in eventually around 6pm.

As for MS/XBL, I read they got hit the other night? Mind you, apparently Blizzard are being targeted too and I couldn't tell.

Got my SingStar fix off my chest anyway. I think the poor cat thought I was in distress, but I enjoyed it

Edit to add: If I ever catch the people involved, I have a few songs in mind that I could sing them, then they would be sorry!

Seems they have really crossed a line with getting a plane diverted, getting the FBI involved.

Re: So PSN is hit by another DDOS today.

The BBC got round to putting up an article yesterday: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-28925052
I gave up trying to play on PSN Sunday and played on 360/XBL instead. I saw on various sources that Sony was the hardest hit. Hopefully Sony will put some of the money from PSN Plus from PS4 users into PSN network infrastructure and security..

Re: So PSN is hit by another DDOS today.

Not been near PSN today, but mine's been iffy for quite a while. I'm not sure if it's linked but my PS3 seems to freeze and require a reboot whenever browsing the PSN store.

As mentioned above, they really do need to pull their thumb out of their botty and sharpish. As much as I love my PS3 and Vita I'm reluctant to carry on spending money on + subs and game downloads and if more people start thinking the same way, Sony's taking could be hit hard.

    Isn't that loitering with-in-tent?!?
