Best xbox one news I've seen. When I saw it announced, I was super happy.
XBOX Live - Sheep Sardine | Origin - MrRockliffe | Steam - MrRockliffe |
Add me
I currently own a 360 and PS3 and have never been able to properly decide which to upgrade to the current gen. This feature (if it turns out well) and the better controller would probably pull me more to the XB1.
From what I could gather from reports, it doesn't really play 360 games, if it's supported you can put a 360 disc in and the XB1 will download a compatible version that has been rebuilt for the XB1. So it might be good for the "big" titles but the more obscure ones may not get a look-in.
The collection is very lacking the now, but the games that it is possible I have not run into any issues (viva, Perfect Dark and Keflings) not the most intensive games for testing the platform but hopefully we see a lot of the bigger titles coming over (want to replay all the mass effect not just number three lol)
I have not tried playing it from the disk games yet only the digital games but most xbox 360 games are 2-3Gb max so even downloading on modern broadband is not a big deal.
Apparently some of the games run very badly on the One. Mass Effect runs even worse than on 360 and that's quite a feat.
I guess you can play with the 360 lot if you in the one
