hi! i've been facing this issue.
when i try to connect and watch videos on my laptop through the PS4 it gives me a error
"cannot play media"
the media player app shows the connected computer and the files are shown also, but when i try to play media the above mentioned issue arises.

i have enabled media streaming option on windows media player
the file types are supported by the app and i have no problem playing the same files via USB


what am i doing wrong? does media like mkv need codecs on the pc side...i use apps like MPC-HC and VLC to watch videos on pc...for me windows media player is not even a last resort.lol ...
