Announced: Jailbroken PS4...

It has now been announced that someone has managed to jailbreak a PS4.

Now I'm new to the SONY scene and if I remember correctly, they managed to jailbreak the PS3.

Did anyone see any positive sides to jailbreaking the console from a performance perspective? or perhaps having the option to customise the console i.e. folders, wallpapers etc?

I am not condoning the use of pirated games in anyway, just I like the option of customisation, pretty much alike to Android over iOS?

Any comments would be appreciated

No performance increases....customisations in some custom roms IIRC (i.e. rebug)

Although hadn't read the news yet.........off for a nosie

Now had a read and it looks like the first step on a long road.....I ain't holding my breath and the hack requires 1.76 or below firmware.
