The coin-up classic that ironically made prepubescent gamers pay for the privilege of delivering papers is set to hit Live Arcade this Wednesday - Paperboy is here!

Featuring the gameplay you have came to know and love, this enhanced version will also allow for co-operative play, either with two players buddying up on the same console or across Live.

For a cost of 400MP, you can expect;

* Seven stages (one for each day of the week) and 3 levels of difficulty – “Easy Street,” “Middle Road” or “Hard Way”
* New Xbox Live multiplayer: The standard multiplayer mode involves two player co-op play which can take place on the same console or over Xbox Live
* Tracked high scores via Xbox Live Leaderboard
* 12 Achievements and 200 Gamerscore points

I played this as a kid, I'd have another go if it was free but I wouldn't pay for it, it's not really the cutting edge of high def gaming

Oh joy, more unplayable retro rubbish. These 20 year old games really are not worth any money. Free, yes, but not even for a couple of quid.

I just paid about £2 for Root Beer Tapper on Xbox live arcade. Really wasn't worth it.

I had this for free when it was out never mind now. Loved it when I was young but I swear the game is PC freeware now
