    More Hardcore

Well recently have been listening to a lot of hardcore, bands such as From Autumn to Ashes, Poison the Well, Converge, Hopesfall, Youth of Today. Now i feel the need for more bands like these.

So im curious if there are any more hardcore fans here on Hexus (if any), and if so what bands are you listening to, as i need to expand my hardcore collection.

I like hardcore, and related sub-genres... there are a few new From Autumn to Ashes mp3s available if you haven't heard them:

    The After Dinner Payback

    Lilacs & Lolita
    http://www.vagrant.com/fata_player/track2.mp3

    Milligram Smile

I listen to Converge, DEP, pg99, Norma Jean, Autumn to Ashes etc. Not really my favourite genre, but I there are some awesome bands out there.

lol, good point. well hardcore from my angle would be some good beat downs, and a deep growling voice, or sometimes high pitched screaming, either way tis all good.

Ergh! The hardcore you hear in cars going down the streets making your windows vibrates is disgusting! How people don't get a headache listening to that, I don't know.. but anyway, they might say the same about Carcass :>

To me, hardcore is faster, more aggressive punk rock. But not punk rock. It goes onto a bunch more levels than that - with influences coming from allover the show - jazz and blues structures were a large part of Black Flag's music. Some of these influences also shine out to the Post-Hardcore and Emo scenes, but they're not really my bag.

Well everyone has their own genre of music which they want to listen to. Let it be that distgusting sound that vibrates car windows, or good ol beat down hardcore, its what they prefer.

I dont mind emo, it can sometimes get on my nerves though. Guys just crying in their songs and stuff, kinda pathetic. Thursday are ok though.
