One song? One song? I can't do that - too many.

I like some of the ones mentioned here though, Green Day & Metallica, especially Green Day's Time Of Your Life.

If pushed, maybe, just maybe: 'Under The Bridge' - Red Hot Chilli Peppers.

Probably have to be something by Pearl Jam...

Indifference or Yellow Ledbetter or I could list about 10 more here so I'll stop now

Green day would be cool too.

My favourite song of all time is 'Take on Me' by Aha.

Reminds me of my childhood, and I love electronic music anyway

Did Bob Dylan cover a Gerry rafferty song then?

Or did he also write a song named 'Stuck In The Middle With You?'

    Inquiring minds want to know

I thought I'd replied to this one... turns out I either didn't - or my post was deleted for expressing lots of "ism"s... which it didn't. So I guess it didn't exist in the first place, then.

Gerry Rafferty Wrote the song Stuck in the middle with you and sung Joe Egan, it was Stealers Wheels only hit. It was then covered by bob dylan.

Well, I don't listen to it a lot now 'cos it's too intense and I'm rarely in the mood, but She's a Lady by Pulp (on the album His 'n Hers) comes pretty close to perfection for me.

Other than that it'd have to be an Abba song, probably Take A Chance On Me or The Winner Takes It All.

Really though, if I was only allowed to listen to one song for the rest of my life, I'd probably shoot myself.

    Rich :¬)
