Skype DECT phones - any advice

About to move house and was going to take advantage of Virgin's 10 quid a month cable. Anyway, I was looking at getting Skype In and a Skype DECT phone like

    or

Has anyone had any experience of these? Which is best/are there any other options? I want something that will work with my PC switched off...

Also keep in mind that you can have a Virgin SIM only ombile contract for £10/month with 300mins / 300 texts. which works out dam good

I know you mentioned without a PC on, but I use one of those bridging PSTN / IP boxes on my DECT phones.

Gives me the flexibility of using any standard DECT phone, or multiple DECT phones if you have more than on a same network. So it removes the need to be close to your PC to answer / make a Skype call. Of course, still need your PC to be on connected via USB for the IP/Skype side to work. Box defaults to PSTN when PC is off.

A few places seem to stock them. I have a "USB-B2K" box which I bought from Scan. They don't seem to do it anymore, but do others. see here or here

I do know everything, just not all at once. It's a virtual memory problem.
