Would anyone like to try editing these?

    Hi guys,

Took a few dozen this morning, as the crops looked nice and the sky was intersting.

These are full size big files so I'll just link them.

Would anyone have a crack at editing them, cropping, colouringh the sky etc, to make them more interesting? I just don't know where to start with them really.

The sky shot was one of 10 that exposed in a way that interested me. I was aiming for a bright intensity in the sun, and moody clouds, and knowing that people can highlight, colour and tone skies, I wondered if anyone might try.

I'm also interested in how people will crop the ..err....crop shot!

Look forward to some attempts if you can be arsed

Did these while waiting for dinner to cook (munch munch munch)... Closed photoshop before posting but from memory I did:

1.5 degrees clockwise, less clouds, a bit off the right side and bit more contrast:

Too artificial in the end but cropped, +25% contrast, +50% highlight, + diffuse glow + despeckle x 2

Edit: Slight changes - desaturated the sky image (a bit) and removed most of the gaps in the left hand silhouette

    Edit 2:

    Quite like it in B&W:

I like that... Every time I try to desaturate, etc I never like the results but I do like that one. Presume you played with the sky and ground separately - and what (exactly) did you do to bring out the contrast in the plantage - very exaggerated without losing detail?

    Lomo!

    Similar to shiato's but different.

Edit: Vignetting looks a bit wrong, actually.

agreed, vignette doesnt seem to agree with the image, also quite a square vignette, maybe a rounded and smoother one would work better?

    Love it ^^^^

Had a quick twizzle on one:

I used Tri Tones here to try and bring more consistency to the levels down into the darker bottom right, whilst retaining a reasonable degree of depth.

But really, polishing turds isnt my forte ;D

And now t'other, literally a little 8 min twaek in CS3.

I tweaked levels then straightend the horizon without throwing the sky off then worked it into a mono subtle tones and finally a crop to enhance the focal point.

    Somthing bolder:
