    Been offered a SAMSUNG LE32M86BD 32" - worth it?

Been offered this second hand for around 400 notes. :

9 months old from a colleague of the missus so a reputable source.

I was going to get a 32" Hannspree from Ebuyer in the next month or so - would it be worth going with the Samsung instead?

just got the hanspree, its going back straight away, really crap. the upscaling from standard def is awful. lots of noise, slow picture, lots of blockyness from upscaling. if you won't have any standard def signal maybe its better without upscaling. didn't even bother trying my 360 on it because it will be largely used with sky normal def and its terrible at that.

still trying to find out what screens supposedly upscale fairly well, seems like a samsung, possibly toshiba 720p screen is the best way to go so i'd say get it.though how much is it new.

Thanks for the feedback. Think it's about 580/590 new. Going to offer 350 and see if he bites.

The M86 is 100hz so yes, I'd get it over the other.
