First timer looking for comments and tips

I'm looking for any advice and tips people might have on the following photos, taken with my S9600 with various combinations of shutter and aperture priority. I'm basically learning as I go until I find a local photography club, so any advice on composition and cropping would also be welcome. I'm particularly interested in ways of getting more definition from the clouds. I don't have photoshop, but do have the Image Mixer and Hyper Utility software that came with the camera.

Does the camera have manual ISO adjustment? I think you could use a lower ISO for the clouds and using a tripod if you're not already could possibly help with the clouds.

Also with the flowers i'd say you could improve the lighting, perhaps even use a soft flash to brighten up those dark areas

for the clouds, i would set the ISO to its lowest setting and adjust the shutter speed to be higher.

as for editing, there is always "the GIMP", which i have found to be just as good as photoshop, even if its interface is rather "unique"

Re: First timer looking for comments and tips

Aperture is 5.6, I can change the ISO from 80 to 1600. I'll have another crack tomorrow and post some more.
