    Air Conditioning Tips

I know it's hardly the weather for it, but my mum's new car has air con and she's wondering what the basic tips are to keep it working properly.

I know you have to use it every so often to avoid mould buildup leading to a musty smell, etc but I don't know the specifics, i.e what happens and how often you should operate it.

I remember a thread about this a while back on here but I can't find it now.

    Tips are appreciated.

    Thanks

just once a week is enough, for about 15 minutes.

if it smells funny when you turn it on your not looking after it right.

And dont forget air con dehumidifies, so its excellent for de-misting your windscreen. I use it alot in the winter weather as it comes on automatically when i set the blowers to screen demist.
