Live music dvd's are the way forward!

They really are awesome, spent most of the early hours of this morning watching metallica - cunning stunts and its just awesome. Up until a few months ago i'd always thought they were kinda pointless and then i was tempted by a cheap slayer dvd on play.com and then again in virgin the other day by cunning stunts. They're absoloutly brilliant and i shall be getting quite a few more when funds allow, so much better than cds its just not true!

ahh metallica are kack... stadium rock for those who like black lol

seriously metallica have lost all self respect thru their greed (napster etc) and then try to reclaim some street cred with St Anger which is so blatantlyunderproduced that u can tell it was done in a multi million pound studio.

"Im madly in anger with you!" lol 5th form metal bands would laugh at that prose.

music DVD'sare pretty good, i got my niece the Avril lavigne DVD 4 christmas and ended up watching it , she is kack live but then i wasnt exactly admiring her guitar licks he he loads of xtra features tho.

Yeah Live DVD's are just ace. If you liked cunning stunts, check out the S&M DVD as well. It's just as good. Like you said, theyre better than cd's even if you dont 'watch' it as such.

Most of my DVD's are music/concerts and it's ever expanding whenever i get the chance.

Yeah theres a few songs with different angles etc it really does add to the whole thing. I didn't know they'd done a dvd of s&m shall have to look for that

revol68, you can't judge metallica by their new stuff really because its so different to the older stuff.

you'd sacrifice 7 great albums so that you wouldn't have to dislike 1 album that really isn't that horrible.................

I really love live music, most of the time I much prefer it to studio recorded stuff because it has so much more to it. I got the alice in chains music bank for christmas and it simply Rocks!

imo the black album was their best album but there's still good stuff on garage inc and reload etc.

refused are pretty good, im not as much a fan of punk as metal though.
