I’ve been requested to shoot some weddings upon displaying some work recently and after some thinking I’ve gone and said… (maybe foolishly) yes. Now it’s said and done, so I don’t want to be drilled on what I’ve let myself in for, I’ve said yes and that’s that. To begin with I need a little guidance please. As you will see I’m going to have to make do in some areas.
Now, I can't afford to be fussy, so I have some questions. I could purchase x1 40D and use my 400D as backup + new lens to add to my current kit (see below), Such as a Canon EF 70-200mm f4L IS USM
My current selected wedding lens kit.
Tamron 17-50mm 2.8
Sigma 30mm 1.4
Sigma 10-20mm 4-5.6 EX DC HSM
As you can see, I intend to add to this, either by hiring or buying based on some decisions.
Does anyone know a good place to hire lens? I could hire certain high end lens and put the available funds to other lens?
I could use a 400D body with another borrowed 400D body + around £1200 new lens/kit. However I don’t think doing this over getting a better body is the way to go if I have the funds.
Can anyone suggest a cheaper setup? Always good to know
Or you guys may have some other different yet helpful suggestions?
