Hi all just wanted to let people know about a new Hong Kong cinema film called Hero, it's available at cd-wow and in my opinion is fantastic, anyone who liked crouching tiger hidden dragon will surely love this. Also this is the most visually stunning film I've possibly ever seen, my favourite is the golden forest(you'll know what I mean if u watch it)

Ok my bad, just found out about it now, the version from cd-wow, is the 2disc dts version, outstanding aprt from extras are all in cantonese and no english subtitles but still well worth it for 10 quid!!! inc deleivery.

The self styled Korean version of Crouching tiger, The Warrior, is pretty good too. I liked the fact that one of the characters kills over a dozen people before even uttering a word!!

Twilight Samurai is a good movie too. It's a Japanese Meiji restoration period drama.

i suppose you understand cantonese otherwise how do you understand what are they talking about? Isn't it supposed to be in mandarin? it was filmed in china isn't?

My copy has got Mandarin, Cantonese and Thai soundtracks on it, but English subs as well.

he means that the extras don't have subtitles, the movie itself does, i personally haven't watched the extras so i can't vouch for that, but i'm sure he's right.
