Brilliant film. Hilariously funny, very light-hearted. The atmosphere in the cinema was amazing (it was full of people!). When he said "I've touched your children, and I'm pretty sure they've touched me too!" I started laughing then the whole cinema just slowly erupted!!

    Ace film

I saw school of rock a few days ago. The film is fantastic, and one of the few films I saw that crosses all age groups - maybe not your Elvis loving grandparents. The soundtrack is totally excellent and JB is without doubt the only person that could have played that part. Such energy, so many quality lines....

seen it 4 times now and it seems funnier everytime. My mother did state however, that jack black got on her nerves and it wasn't as good as sister act ... Oldies... what do they know hey

I really didn't like this film, I'm very disapointed as I was really looking forward to it. I felt the film had one joke and just kept rehashing it over and over again, maybe I'm getting too cynical in my old age.

I dont understand how jack black sets out in creating a "rock" band, having seeing his old band and talking about his influences, but then makes a soft poppy sing along at the end. I was expecting something better for the end song. something that you could "rock out to" as he put it lol.

    meh, Im getting too picky.

Oh and er, excluding Meat Loaf, since when did REAL rock songs include female backing vocals!!???

he does bring up a point tho about MTV destroying rock! lol go jack black!
