    Need some songs identified please

Right, I need some songs identified so I can go and dow...buy them.

    1. The song from that Gordon's gin advert where everyone is getting their drinks chucked in their faces. It might be the same song (or similar) to the music to the 'wishy-washy' game on Eye-Toy.

    2. The song from the Ipod advert, the one where they're all dancing about in coloured silhouette. There's a bit where it goes 'What channel, what station?' if that's any help.

    3. Finally, I want to know who did the version of California Dreaming in the Saab convertible advert. I don't normally like that sort of 'cool jazz' style but I think it really suits the song.

    TIA,

    Rich :¬)

I think the iPod advert was composed especially for Apple which means if its in house there won't have been a realease of it!

    Dunno bout the others.

    MacBook - 2Ghz - 1GB RAM - 120GB HDD

Sorted! That's the one I wanted most anyway Raven, I've been singing it all day.

'Tis a shame about the Apple song though....I guess it's back to trying to DL songs from Soleside's Greatest Bumps for my hip-hop fix.

I think that that apple song might be this... (Just a guess though)

Hmm....got the Bobby Womack song....what a disappointment. After the first verse it goes into a totally overwrought soul arrangement with a really wailing vocal; totally spoils it.

I shall check out the Jungle Brothers when I get home, cheers. I actually heard the trumpet bit that's sampled in it on a cookery program yesterday. In the ad breaks they played the Gordons ad a few times and now I want the song more than ever. I love a bit of banjo/ukelele music.

I believe the music to the new Gordon's Gin advert is:

Patrick Dawes - The Birds & The Bees

It is m8- I totally failed to buy the single when it was out though. Today I got drunk and decided that I had to have the song, so I went into Virgin on Oxford Street and paid £14 for the album. I haven't listened to any of the other songs yet, but I've had my money's worth, cos The Birds And The Bees is honestly one of the greatest songs ever. I can't stop myself waving my hands in the air and grinning like a loon.
