    Photography books

I've just been asked by a relative about getting a photography book for his dad.

He's looking at about £15-20, has a Canon 450D and is a beginer.

    Any recomendations?

    Thanks guys

    Re: Photography books

There's one called 'Understanding Exposure' which I've often heard reccomendations for. Otherwise maybe you could send him along to some kind of workshop/tutorial day. 15quid won't get him all that far on one of these, but something might be available.

Canon EOS Rebel XSi 450D Digital Field Guide - Is one I have, aimed at the 450D user specifically, and covers the basics of exposure and composure etc.

    Re: Photography books

Another vote for Bryan Petersons understanding Exposure - a great guide into, well understanding what makes a photo, well written with great supporting images, amazon have it too for a sensible price.
