Best HD media streamer

Anyone care to recommend an hd media streamer?

I bought a Pixel Magic device years ago. Nice and quiet as it was passively cooled but the firmware wasa not well tested and the company, whilst still advertising it, seem to have dropped the forum due to the number of complaints.

I'd quite like a device with internal hard drive if it's quiet, but could stream wirelessly so was considering the A C Ryan Play On HD Mini.

I guess part of it depends on how much you want to spend.

I'm curerntly testing out a Popcorn Hour A-200 which has been firmware hacked to a C-200, as the hardware is 95% the same. For the most part it's playing nicely from the internal HDD, as well as USB and over the nework. But at approx £170 without the HDD it's maybe more than you want to pay.

I use a wdtv live. Seems to play all manner of formats, can be linked to media servers and has a very active modding community.
The standard interface is quick and simple.

Went with the A C Ryan Play On HD Mini when Scan had it on a 'today only' offer.

Only used it a few times since but happy with it so far except that it loses the wireless setup when the firmware is updated.
