    New Lens, Body or both?

I am in the market for a new camera, or possibly just a new body, or just a nice lens! In the upcoming months I am going on my Honeymoon to Vancouver and I expect I will be taking a lot of photos (or I at least hope to!). But, I think my current setup requires a bit of a refresh before I go.

So at the moment I have:
    Canon 350d + kit lens (18-55mm USM)
    Nifty 50mm 1.8
    Sigma 28-300mm f3.5-6.3 DG Macro

I also carry with me at all times a Canon S90 compact.

I have £1500 or so to play with.
Intention is to take lots of Vista shots when on holibags, with some street photography added to the mix when I get back. I have been looking about and would probably like a new body - 60d or 7d. However I don't know if just a new lens would do me for the moment and carry on with the 350d.

It might worth considering a Canon 15-85MM which is around the equivalent of a 24-136MM lens on a 35MM camera. IMHO,this is a good range for a general purpose lens.

If you are looking for a wider lens the Tokina 11-16MM is worth considering too.

The Sigma 10-20mm is also worth a look for super wide, all my church chots are donje with that lens and an old Nikon D70 body (more or less same as the 350d-ish)
    Cheers, David

get yourself some quality glass, once you find you are pushing your camera to its maximum capabilities then its time to upgrade the body.

the 350D will produce amazing prints all the way to 30x20in with the right glass
