    Price Check Desktop

I would like an opinion on the value of my desktop:

    Mobo: Abit IP35 Pro
    CPU: Intel Q6600
CPU Cooler: Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme with Scythe S-Flex
    GFX Card: Radeon 4850 512MB
GFX Card Cooler: Accelero S2 with 12cm fan (need double check but probably Scythe Slipstreams)
Memory: 4GB DDR2 (need to double check but probably Corsair or Crucial value)
    HD: Samsung EcoGreen F2 1TB
    Optical: LG SuperMulti DVDRW
    Case: Antec P182
OS (optional): Win7 Home Premium Retail

    I was thinking along the line of £300/£250 (with / without Win7), but admitedly I am not sure how much my kit has depreciated since it was built (and hardly used) ^^;

I can make estimates on each item separately then you can make of that, what you will..

    Mobo: Abit IP35 Pro - £25
    CPU: Intel Q6600 - £50
CPU Cooler: Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme with Scythe S-Flex - £20
    GFX Card: Radeon 4850 512MB - £25
GFX Card Cooler: Accelero S2 with 12cm fan - £10
Memory: 4GB DDR2 (need to double check but probably Corsair or Crucial value) - £30
    HD: Samsung EcoGreen F2 1TB - £40
Optical: LG SuperMulti DVDRW - £10
    Case: Antec P182 - £50

I make that £260, but obviously, I don't really know how accurate those prices are.

What PSU does the system have? Any special case fans? Anything that makes this system better than another of the same spec?

    Re: Price Check Desktop

Ah I knew I forgot something. The PSU is a Seasonic S12 600W.

And I just realised that this probably would've been better under Computer Hardware.

Would a mod kindly move this thread please

I'd say that'd be worth about £35-40 as well, so you're looking at £300 for all the parts..

If you're wanting to sell it, I'd say the price that you've given is actually spot on.

    Re: Price Check Desktop

If you decide to split it mate rather than sell it as a complete system I'd be interested in mobo, cpu ram and gfx card

    Re: Price Check Desktop

It's now for sale in the appropriate forum Classifieds so we probably should carry on the conversation there (this now being about sales and all)

If no one wants the whole thing, or someone else has an interest in the other bits, I will consider splitting. Two things I'll ask is 1. Are you in London, and 2. Do you have time to pick out the bits you need out of the case?

I am kind of busy at the moment (packing, preparing to move), which is why I am selling it in the first place. I would like to save a little bit of time on disassembling if possible.
