Extract where ever you want.
Open the wav file in windows media player (winamp dont support 5.1 streams iirc).
Listen to it through the headphones.
Do you hear EVERY one of the 6 outputs it gives you ?
Also, the rear right. As soon as mine gets to that one, the speaker messes up big time. Its just solid bass. It makes watching films impossiable, as its just ALL bass from the right side.
Also, you got UT204 zak ?
If so, do a shock combo with the Shock rifle. Does the bass distort ?. When i do it, it toally obliterates the sound for a few seconds untill it fully fades out.
Im not sure if its because of the poor bass that these speakers will produce, or if its related to the read right problem.
If they all work fine, could you list your settings, what speaker setup you have slected... any special settings you changed like bass output ?
Im guessing im looking at an RMA
Dammit, its always me
I'll try that lot later....I didnt know Media Player did surround

Komplett do the Gainwards for £25 now http://www.komplett.co.uk/k/ki.asp?sku=300438&cks=SER
Dunno mate...I have only used these. But lets balance them.... they are SO MUCH BETTER than any of the normal PC gaming run of the mill things that most of us have used (Plantronics, etc etc etc) that on that prmise alone I'd advise people get them.
They are BIG, and HEAVY....but very comfortable. Your entire ear fits inside EASILY and the pads are velvet and non sweaty. The Amp goes POP when you boot up tho, so watch your ear's
And sadly my mobile phone sets them off really really badly....
but for gaming, positioning and depth of sound...
I love them. I PRAY Agent sorts his ones

See this review http://www.walibe.com/reviews-47.html it mentions the Zalman in the first paragraph. Also see http://www.gurureview.co.uk/index.ph...sk=view&id=141 for a good review.

Zalman! I have and love! They sound good..
Just noticed on play they will be doing a twin pack of Medusa with a single amp for £69.99

i think i must have a dud pair of zalman 5.1's, wearing them sounds like when you put your ear up to a sea shell and in general the sound is pretty crappy. Listening to music with them is a joke too
