Will try this one maybe? Second hand black guitar with pink scratch plate

I would try and discourage the pink theme, but as she has recently discovered her wardrobe doesn't NEED to be all black and even wore a skirt to a party would like to get her what she wants

Cheers all for the suggestions. Any advice on second-hand guitars in Reading area?

Second Hand guitars check small local music stores as they'll sometimes have a guitar that someones traded in, cash converters will sometimes have a decent squire/epi/kramer in for a reasonably low price (make sure you play it first though), your local paper is the most obvious one, it can be a brilliant source as people will have guitars left from their kids getting bored with learning and put em in for £50 etc.

Having had a more extensive search last night i discovered just how closed the options are for pink guitars, theres the £90 starter ones on ebay, the one I posted earlier for £129 and after that your into Daisyrock and fender territory for £300+

I think the best bet as has been said is to grab a white or black strat and put a pink/custom scratchplate on it, they'll do one at gsrguitars.co.uk.
