    please help...

    ... It's coming up to my birthday, and I don't really wanna go out, so i've decided to stay in with some jelly and ice cream, cake, a dvd and my man.

    The only thing is that I don't really know what to watch.

    Anyone got any ideas (as a helping hint, my favourite films are all the girly british ones, Love actually, bridget jones etc... and some random others like Leon, The Rock, Face /off etc.)

    Recent and available to rent would be good...

    muppets are cool. I like finding nemo too, monsters inc also fun.
    not such a fan of donnie darko - just annoyed me. about a boy is ok, it was on telly the other night. princess bride is always amusing. how about robin hood? alan rickman is superb...kind of steals the film - its a shame costner is not quite as good!

    how about a harry potter? or all three back to back now they're out on dvd?
    if you're up for a marathon you could do all three lord of the rings films back to back...i did the extended versions back to back (only as far as 2towers) and its quite a challenge, when the third comes out [extended version] then who ever can stand that is seriously hardcore!
