Free auto ID3 tagging software?

My new mp3 player should be arriving tomorrow thanks to hexus The only problem is that it reads off ID3 tags and not off the file name. My collection of my backed up cds span to about 500 tracks which would take me a little while to do an ID3 tag for each. Musicmatch has the ability to do this but I have to register and pay a small fee. Is there any software out there which would do this for free?

Ooo - useful, my player does that as well, been slowly working through them as my 'Unknown Artist' folder has about 800 tracks in it
