    Help with some headphones

So I need some help choosing between a pair of AKG K511 or a SONY MDRZX310. They will be used to listen to music and a little of gamming.

I have no experience with either of them. However I thought I would throw in the SONY MDR-10RC "portable/foldable" headphones for £27.97 delivered, since they are bargain basement cheap at the moment.

They do sound brilliant (I listen to rock, classic and folk), also I am not sure how comfortable they would be for extended gaming sessions.

    Re: Help with some headphones

Some of Sonys recent headphones have had some good reviews and anything I've listened to with a Sony logo on recently has been quite good.

At that sort of price the Sennheiser HD202s are surely in thew frame too ?

I can completely recommend them !

I'd go with AKG, just from a quick look at those two.

    Re: Help with some headphones

I have AKG and I am absolutely happy because they press the head really tough, and I like it (reduces headache). Of course this is not the only reason, the quality sound is also great. But if you don't like that touch feeling around your head, try Sony, they are more loose for sure.
