    Constantine

Well I expected this to be pretty good based on reviews etc.

It didn't help my experience with the front left speaker not working properly with little or no sound from it.

It has a complex script with a lot going on for a 2 hour movie. As my friend suggested it was like they had so many ideas to fit into it that they kept starting a new one before they had finished the old one.

Although I do not think this was a bad movie I actually started to get bored after a while. There was not a massive amount of action but what there was, was very good. It was really Matrix-esk as many people suggested but it was fairly well written, with good special effects. The acting was good, with the exception of Keanu Reeves who didn’t really suit the role.

I did like the twist, as I didn't guess it, which is unusual. But I thought the ending was a little less imaginative.

To summaries. Hmmm well it was an ok movie but nothing special. It's not a movie that I'd watch again even after a long period as I'd fall asleep, knowing what was coming next.

I'll go and watch it but am going expecting little - it will never match the brilliance of the comic

i wouldn't bother going to see it at the cinema unless there really isn't much else on. although the special effects are v.good it just has no substance or particularly well organized script. it didn't seem to create any empathy with the characters or plot

enjoyable eye candy non the less if you can keep telling yourself it isent Neo your watching

Saw three films this week those being Constantine, Hitch and Hostage and I'd probably put Constantine last on the list.

It's by no means terrible, I just personally enjoyed the other two more, but the story is pretty reasonable. As a really shallow side note, if your going to see this film just for Rachel Weisz, don't bother as she isn't really shown in her best light throughout.

I watched constantine - and the sound was pretty poor for me too - it was too quiet so you could hardly hear what the people were saying. It was quite good but nothing super amazing.

Why was Constantine a black haired American when he should have been a blonde haired londoner???

Read the comix so knew what was going to happen etc and didn't like Gabriel (different from the comix).

Was expecting more than this because I love the comix - but it turned out average.
