Manic Street Preachers in a 'cosy' venue

Saw them at leeds uni refectory last night - BEST. GIG. EVAR.

We were right at the front, the manics themselves were fookin' fantastic, playing songs that spanned their whole career. Which was great for me and my mate as we aren't overly into their later stuff after Richey went AWOL

The crowd were absolutely mental and I turned into a right fiesty n violent madame defending my space from the hoards of people trying to get further up the front - but it was all part of the fun!

    Anyone else been?

Love it when bands play small venues like that, so much better than big arena's tbh

I've seen them 3 times i think... The Manic Millenium, Tsunami concert and another time but I cant remember exactly where and when that was right now. They rocked every time. They are incrediblelive live.

I saw them in December, in Plymouth, not a huge venue, but still large in comparisson. Still, fantastic gig, although they teased us with the intro to sleepflower.

Agreed with the small venues thing. Saw The Thrills last month at the Hammersmith Palais, fantastic night.
