aye, i was shocked when i saw em on there doing st anger, tis a step in the wrong direction for them imo
Well now Top of the pops is riviling on the other channel they are trying to get as many bands as poss. Its TV coverage for them appealing to people without sky, so even bad gigs are still gigs.
I dont like sig pics so i turn off sigsWhich doesnt help when i dont know what ive written here! DOH!

Metallica were accused of selling out for the One video and they were also accusing of selling out for the Black Album (going mainstream).
I would agree that this is a step in the wrong direction for them but gigs are gigs as has been said. Interesting comment friend of mine made - dont think of St. Anger as a new album from metallica but an album from the new metallica.
Thats my point really, the new metallica do top of the pops and cd-uk, and that just doesn't seem right
A punk band called Amen were on cd:uk for all of 1 second when they did an article thing on the kerrap! awards...
I told one of the guitarists and he absolutely no idea that they were on.. :>

Yeah, but the new lineup is poo - so it doesn't matter
good point tho metalica is changing and i do belive there is pretty much a whole new metalica, i dont like the new album

That was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. St. Anger is in no way their best album but Frantic was surprisingly good live! Nothing in comparrison to nothing else matters, puppetz, bellz, sandman, blackened or one but still great.
They do rock live. Saw them at this years reading.Absolutely fabulous.
