Portable speakers for my MP3 player

I currently have a set of Sony SRS-T70 portable speakers that I have used over many years when travelling. The sound is exceptionally clear but, as can be expected, there is virtually no bass. That's not the main problem. I don't have an AC adaptor for them so have to keep feeding the speakers 4 AA batteries, even though these last absolutely ages.

So, i'm looking for a new set of portable speakers that come with an AC adaptor as standard and deliver exceptional sound (they don't have to be loud but do have to be very clear and distortion free).

    Any recommendations?

I second the creative travelsound. I bought some for this purpose. Used them a work and everyone turned round when I had them on a bit loud. Do give enough bass as well.
I do know everything, just not all at once. It's a virtual memory problem.
