Creative Zen Touch Problems

HEy everyones ..

So i got a creative zen touch a few months ago .. and it seemed to be working fine, i was happy with it .. till recently ive been having some problems ... I start the device up and it freezes on the "now playing" screen .. with none of the buttons working .. i tried reseting it but it would come back to the same thing, it wuoldnt turn off, so i left it on til the battery drained out, i charged it and restarted it, same problem ... if anyone has any suggestions i will greatly appreciate it ... thanks a alot

Have you tried to blank the drive and re-fill the player? Or a firmware upgrade.

You might want to take a look on Creative's site for details on both, it's the only things I can think of.

I had the same problem wit my zen touch 20gb and tried to upgrade firmware. was fine after that.

Am slightly dissapointed with creative though to be honest as the player I have now was the third replacement I have been sent, as I had already had 2 faulty first gen Zen micros. They had really vulnerable headphone sockets that kept failing after a few months pocket use. Not sure if they have fixed this problem in the newer models or not. I hope so as it is a great quality player apart from that with good sound quality.
