i have been told that this one does to a certain extent......

Other cheaper imitations don't though as I work in retail and they usually come back with a comment of "they didn't work."
    Woohoo now Assistant Manager!

I have that one. Although ive only needed to use it once I can tell you now that they work. I had a small but deepish scratch on one of my dvds. It was bad enough to cause the same frame to repeat over and over so I stuck it into the skipdoctor give it a go stuck it back in my dvd player and it worked perfectly. I was pleasantly suprised.

When you put the disk through the device it does make the underside go dull and you can clearly see that the SD has been to work on it, but if it saves a disk you wont care. Their a very handy tool indeed.

i've had one for years, only used it a couple of times though. One disk was really badly damaged at the outer edge and still wouldn't read

they're ok for the majority of skips, but if you can see through the metal layer, nothing's gonna save it
