Snow!

So, I wake up this morning, LOADS of snow... But I was too cold and too tired, so I went back to bed. Mistake.

By the time I got up again, the snow was mostly gone

Still managed to get a few snaps though :









Oh, and at one point I was also assaulted by a herd of sheep (and 4 rams) - here's a shot of one of said rams bounding toward me. Thank god their horns were cut off, is all I can say - because even their bare skulls hurt like hell!

The shot shows off the old skool Nikkor 70-210 f4-5.6 nicely. That was only at 70mm (Ram was moving in for the kill!) but it stays that sharp all the way through

Great pictures - I am just getting started with serious photography. I brought myself a Canon EOS 20D with 17-85 IS USM lense. Tried taking some pics but not had much success at taking good pics. What Camera/lense do you have?

I use a D70 and a few different lenses mate, although all of these (bar the ram one) are taken with a Sigma 15-30mm
The Ram shot was taken with a Nikkor 70-210mm.

However, your camera/lens combination is great - the 20D is a killer cam, and the 17-85 is a pretty decent lens. It's all about practice! an SLR does take some time to get used to... But keep shooting!
