    Best Album Covers

    Following on from a thread in GD about worst album covers, time to post your favourite album covers.

    My overall favourite has to be 'Unknown Pleasures' by Joy Division:

    And although I don't like Oasis at all, I think this is a good cover...



    ...because there's lots of clever things in it... like...
    The bloke in the distance on the left with the white diamond above his head is the producer holding the master copy of the album up (in the white box)
    It's daylight and the streetlights are on
    There's a load more things about it as well, but I don't own it and that pic is very low res ....

    The only holographic ├ćnima cover I've seen was one that was imported to the UK from the US.

    Other than that my fave has to be the multi layered bookklet and cover for Lateralus.
