    The Scottish Invasion! (14photos!)

    Hey all,

    Spent the last 2 weeks in beutiful Scotland. Spent a week on the isle of Skye and a week around Fort William. Heres some of the photos:

    i have never been to scotland nor have i ever wanted to but looking at those amazing pics you have taken i might just have to pay it a visit.

    Love the waterfall photos in particular. The motion blur is a nice touch. I presume you used a tripod to get the effect. All of the rest are really pretty too. I agree with leeglf , they do make you want to visit, but it's on the wrong continent for me.

    love the conrtast+saturation you're getting there...is that post-processing or the camera? Some of them look positively HDR?

    Mainly the camera, i do very little PS work. All taken with my Nikon D70 and in Manual with Exposure compansation.

    They are fanastic pictures, what kind of shutter speed do you use to get the blur?

    Nice pictures, it must have been tricky getting up those higher ones. Were there roads and paths, i'd love to go to places like that but would be scared of getting lost in the wilderness.

    There was some roads. Its just a case for getting some books with detailed walks and some maps

    all good pics and a couple of great ones hope you're gonna get some printed

    2,5,7,8 are my favs. i just had a play with number 8 and made it into a mono which i thought worked well, hope you don't mind...
