    LCD TV's

I have a few questions regarding these:

    1) Do they make good TV's for bedroom usage

    2) i notice that the contrast ratio and the brightness ratios are very close together on alot of them, does this matter, because i know (or at least think i know) that with TFT monitors the further appart them two values are from each other the blacker black will look (am i right in saying that).

    3) Response times- does this matter as much as a PC TFT screen where the lower the time the less blure there is, is 25-30 "OK" for TV usage, obviously i know that the lower the timeing the better

PS : Im looking for somthing which is around a 20 -22" widescreen . Thanks again

First of all they're very expensive

    1) I don't see how it wouldn't make a good TV for bedroom use - I guess it's really ideal for that.

    2) Most LCD TVs have perfectly adequate specifications for their purpose - not sure about contrast and brightness ratios to be honest, sorry.

    3) 25-30ms response is ok for TV usage - though when using my TV card and there are things scrolling along the screen quickly it can be unclear. However LCD TVs may be better as they are JUST for TVs.

Best thing to do is go into dixons or wherever and look for yourself I reckon.

Go into a shop + look through a fan at the TV's. The one with the most black lines on the TV will be the better TV.

However, why LCD? Why not plasma?
