That's my pleasure. You replied very quick, make sure you read my edits.
The limit system looks quite good and should work well, but if there's a Richer Sounds near you I strongly advise you to go along and ask for a demonstration before you buy. They should be happy to let you listen to it hooked up to a DVD player. That's the great thing about Richer- they're not just cheap, they give great service too (in general).

Thanks! As an inveterate spod, I can't resist pontificating about stuff like this, and I've cheesed off a few people as a result....Originally posted by Zak33

I was obsessed with home cinema a few years ago; I even spent most of my student loan on a big TV and S-VHS video, not long before it became a pretty much obsolete format. I also bought a Laserdisc player when everyone was clearing out the discs as DVD became popular (but while the encoding quality was poor), which was a better idea, as I bought dozens of discs for a fiver or less.
I'm starting to get back into it now, just as I have no money and have moved into a tiny flat with no room for a decent surround setup, and with a wife who can't see the benefit of sodding around for five minutes before you watch a film to get the satellites in place.
And while we're being nice Zak, I must say I've learnt a lot from you in the cars and bikes forum, so thanks for that as well.
