Corsair H60 not cooling as thought

    Hello all,

I have just installed a Corsair H60 into a Corsair 400r case, using the rear case fan and included fan on the H60 as intakes (push-pull)

My processor seems to be running hotter than it used to on an Arctic Freezer 7 pro... Which is a £15 cooler

I am sure it is mounted properly and everything is securely fastened. Do I have a faulty cooler or is something else the problem?
I tried overclocking today to see if there was a difference in temps, about +2/3 degrees for a +0.6ghz overclock but when I stress tested my qx9650 using blend mode on prime95 my core 0 and Core 1 went to -30 degress and below 0 temps.

Anyone know what my problem is?

Below 0 is technically impossible without some form of advanced cooling, liquid nitrogen etc. Sounds like either your motherboard or CPU is reporting the wrong temps. What program are you using to record temps? try HWmonitor.
