Asus Striker Extreme + TwinX XMS2 PC5400

Hi,

I have some problems with my System, and I think it is the Memory.
The System is a Asus Striker Extreme (BIOS v. 1004, CPU: Pentium-D 830), with 4x512 MB TwinX XMS2 PC5400, DDR2, so both in Dual Channel, currently running at 4-4-4-12.
I get BSOD every know and then. I know for sure if I'm running a certain application, it will go to BSOD.
Now I looked on some forums, and I might not be the only one who has problems with that.
Asus itself is providing a so called QVL (Qualify Vendor List), but I couldn't find any infos about that.
I haven't tried memtest yet, but thats the next thing I will do.
Some suggested setting RAM Vcore to 2.1. Does this any good?

But what else could be the problem ?
And where can I find these magical QVL List for my Board ?

Yes, you will need to raise your memory voltage to 2.1v. Also, you may benefit from a slight increase to the FSBV and NBv since you have 4 DIMMs. What power supply are you using?

It's a Q-Tec 450WP

Well, I set the VCORE of the memory to 2.1, but then I get errors straight away.
All processes are duing when I start Windows.
I currently have raised the FSB to 810, so that the memory is running with 675 at 4-4-4-12-2T.
However the system freezed at 5 o'clock when I looked on my system this morning.
I don't know what is going on with my system, and if a certified memory is any better.

What memory are certified for use with my Mobo from Corsair?
Do you have this QVL List?

I can almost smell the burning from here.

That is one of THE WORST PSUs on the market today!!!

Go buy another and fast ...... that is the route of your problems i would suspect.

I have no problems with the PSU.
It has new fans inside.
I have set the FSB to 802, and the DDR to 675. They are Unlinked, but the DDR is not going for the 675, but 668, so only 1 MHz more.
But on the other side, it looks that it is now stable.
I ran Super PI with 32MB, no problems, Stability Test with Everest for 30 min, no problems.

The quality of your PSU is very poor and new fans cannot change this. I believe that Blitzen is correct here. Can you list the power specifications of this Q-Tec?
