Corsair Vengeance showing XMS 3 part number and no XMP profile

    Hi All,
I have recently purchase 4GB (2 x 2GB) of Vengeance 1600MHz RAM from Scan and installed into my PC, however I am unable to activate the XMP profile, the option wasn't showing on my motherboard (Intel DP55WG).
I checked CPU-Z and one stick is showing the correct part number: CMZ4GX3M2A1600C9, however the other stick is showing the following part number: CM3X2G1333G9
Both sticks show as ver2.12 and have the correct serial number on the label.
Currently I can only run the RAM at 1333 rather than the 1600 I wanted it for....
Has anyone experienced this before or can someone from Corsair help with this?

    Many Thanks

    Jeremy

I bet there's somehow been a mix up with the heat spreaders! Strange as My Corsair XMS3 supports the XMP profile according to CPU-Z (part number is CMX4GX3M2B1600C9 and it's 1600mhz rated at 1.5V with 9-9-9-24 timings).

Good call, I thought it may have been flashed with the incorrect settings or something;, I have XMS3 in my other machine that is 1600MHz rated and that supports XMP, I think this is just a rogue stick.
I will give scan a call in the morning to arrange an RMA.
    Thank you for the reply.

Just a quick update, I have spoken to Scan who have issued an RMA number to refund the RAM and I have ordered an 8GB kit as replacement (it would have been rude not to)
Once again fantastic service from Scan, I cannot recommend them enough
