    Can I?

I currently have CORSAIR XMS2 DOMINATOR 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model TWIN2X2048-6400C4D installed in my PC. If I add more ram of a different kind to my PC well it work with these?

If they are pretty much the same id say so, but i think corsair will advised you to buy in sets, or as close to identical as possible

    Re: Can I?

They probably will, but they would work better together if you got the same ram sets

    Re: Can I?

Mixing 2 different kits is not recommended but many people do it succesfully. The only way to know is to install and test.

    Re: Can I?

It depends on what you mean by "different kind". What they call the "form factor" has to be the same ("DDR2") - this is what make it fit in the slot. If they are of different bandwith, then the system may default to the slower speed, but some systems are a bit quirky. The same applies to latency (sometimes quoted as a CAS number). Be wary of what slots you put memory into, and if there is a maximum ceiling for your motherboard(consult the manual). One way of getting good solid advice is to visit the crucial website (Google for "Crucial Computer Memory").
