    Question Vengeance LP 1600mhz (2500k or 3570k)

    Hello everyone
I have a PC with Vengeance LP 8GB, 1600Mhz, and I am wondering which would be better: having a 2500k or a 3570k
    Thx

If you have the choice between the 2, get the 3570K as long as it is not overly expensive as compared to the 2500K.

    Re: Vengeance LP 1600mhz (2500k or 3570k)

Thx for the answer, but what I want to know is if the ram (Vengeance LP 1600mhz) performance would be better with an 3570k than with an 2500k installed.
I read that about Ivy Bridge: " sandy bridge only officially supported a maximum DDR3 speed of 1333MHz...memory sweet spot for an ivy bridge is 1600Mhz"
does this mean that an 1600mhz ram runs better with a 3570k than with 2500k?.
    Thx in advance

The RAM will be just fine either way, but you should still get the Ivy Bridge.
