    Ram rma

Have requested an RMA for a stick of Corsair RAM which is less than two years old.

Question is, as it is a dual channel kit, and one of the two 16GB sticks in the pack is faulty, will they ask for both?

Asking because it would render my laptop useless until it came back

To answer my own question and help anyone else wondering...

Yes you will have to send both sticks back, to avoid compatibility issues, Corsair have said.

What a pain hope it doesn't take long to get a replacement. Good thing about sending both back means hopefully you'll get two new ones in return!

They were quite quick, to their credit.

Can't be sure they were new though
