Good point that, especially considering they wanted to drop the brand names from their CPUs...
Pictures have died
Kalniel: "Nice review Tarinder - would it be possible to get a picture of the case when the components are installed (with the side off obviously)?"
CAT-THE-FIFTH: "The Antec 300 is a case which has an understated and clean appearance which many people like. Not everyone is into e-peen looking computers which look like a cross between the imagination of a hyperactive 10 year old and a Frog."
TKPeters: "Off to AVForum better Deal - £20+Vat for Free Shipping @ Scan"
for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.
Works fine with me??
BTW,these seems to be rumours that Trinity and Abu Dhabi will use full Piledriver cores, and that Vishera will different cores which are only slightly tweaked Bulldozer ones. That would be a pile of fail!
Edit!!
The pictures are in this article:

It would seem strange to release Trinity on Abu Dhabi but not Vishera IMO...
If you're going by the screenshots, according to CPUID changelogs, preliminary Trinity support was added in March and nothing since, so it could just be a case of it misinterpreting CPUID strings.
Christ i hope thats not true, i cant be bothered to do a full system update and switch to Intel, i was hoping to just throw a new CPU in there for a moderate boost in performance but if they are basically the same, not worth the silicone they're made from for my uses.

It seems both CINEBENCH and wPrime were run.
It is hard to say whether that score was taken at either 4.8GHZ or 5.0GHZ,but looking at scores for overclocked FX8150 CPUs,the IPC increase would be around 10% in CINEBENCH if the benchmark was run at 5GHZ.
That means,the FX8350 would score around 7.2 in CINEBENCH at 4GHZ,which would in-between a Core i7 2700K and a Core i7 3770K.

10% seems quite low. I thought the biggest issue with BD was the instruction decoder which has now been changed so it doesn't bottleneck the module?
I was expecting more then 10% from that alone the way it was being talked about.......although I guess there is always the chance cinebench does not show that change particularly well.

Toms Hardware did say they got a 15% IPC increase in their Trinity A10 sample, when compared to the FX8150 in 3DS Max 2012 and iTunes. OTH,gaming performance is an unknown and I expect Intel to still be better with their Core i5 CPUs.
Edit!!
Steamroller is the core which has the revised front end.

I've always been an Intel guy really at heart, although the last AMD CPU I had was a dual core, did me well for it's 3-4 years of usage. Still not sure about AMD though. Maybe it's personal preference? I don't know
