    Recommend A Thermal Pad

    Hi,

I have had hit and miss affairs with thermal paste over the years, either too much or not enough, so I am going to try an easier option but having trouble finding out exactly what size/thickness I need etc.

I have 2 processors which I need to do, one is an i5 2500k and the other an Athlon X2 6000. Can anyone recommend me a thermal pad suitable for these processors

    Thank you
    Jon

You don't need thermal pads get some Arctic cooling MX-4 Thermal paste it works very well....

Pads are only used for Heatsinks "chipset and Vram"

As I said, I have used paste over the years and have had mixed results with it.

The pads I am talking about are like the ones you can buy from intel for their processors

Coollaboratory Liquid Metal = avoid! It attacks aluminium.

Indigo Xtreme pads are supposed to be the best. They were recently added to Scan but it looks like they removed them after a few days.
