    cpu cooler

I am looking for a single fan noctua CPU heatsink cooler for Intel CPU Core i7 3770K Quad Core IvyBridge CPU and can seem to find one. Is there one available if if so from where? What other heatsinks are recommended? I need a high quality on with quiet fan and bolt through kit either included of as an accessory. Thanks

Well the 212 Evo is generally well regarded:

I'm looking for a new heatsink/fan too, the link points to the earlier revision of the 212 Evo, I've seen the newest one on amazon for about £10 more. Does anyone know if the price increase is worth it?

Do you have a link to the newer version on amazon, I can't see one for £10 more?

    Re: cpu cooler

well it's £8.35 more, it is version RR-212E-20PK-R2 as opposed to RR-212E-16PK-R1:

The newer version is recommended here: http://www.techsupportforum.com/foru...ed-662987.html

    Re: cpu cooler

    Hmmm interesting question.

On a related note, how do these things work with future sockets? i.e. is there going to be any trouble adapting one of these for socket 1150?

    Re: cpu cooler

Leaked documents say the 1150 should be the same size as 1155 so they should be interchangeable. What is your price range?
