Picked up a C2D 2Ghz + x2300, I figure that will just about run lovefilm!

Hmmmm, I hope you're right. Lovefilm uses Silverlight, and I don't know how good or otherwise the GPU support on silverlight will be for the X2300 - reading around it looks like some people have had problems with both netflix and lovefilm not utilising hardware acceleration even on newer GPUs like ION. Make sure you get the latest version of silverlight and the latest drivers for the x2300, and cross your fingers

I had lots of problems with lovefilm on a quad core and a 9800 gtx card Silverlight just dont work well with some gpu's might be a fix out now though. It was also buggy with windows media centre streaming.

Now that would worry me, to be fair it was only HD stuff at full screen that caused issues and that was on a 1ghz C2D so I have high hopes!

Blimey, where *do* you keep finding all these great laptop deals? That's cheap-as for a reasonable spec laptop. GPU is architecture-equivalent to a desktop X1300 so low-detail DX9 gaming should be possible

There was a Vaio sz3 with a T5600 and a 7400 Go for £100 that I was interested in but then I saw the 6910p

I think the m10s with the nv150s are still on eBay.

Only 1.5GB of RAM though so I'm gonna pick up a 2GB stick asap which should help
